Professional Training at the University of Vienna

Kristina Lekić Barunčić participated in a professional training at the Department of Philosophy, University of Vienna, from 26 to 28 November 2025

The training was hosted by Professor Mark Coeckelbergh, a leading scholar in the fields of philosophy of technology, ethics of digital society, and political philosophy. The training was conducted as part of the research project “Epistemic Democracy in the Digital Age”, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ).

During her stay in Vienna, Dr. Lekić Barunčić engaged in a range of academic and professional activities, including participation in scholarly discussions focused on the relationship between digital technologies and epistemic practices, observation of teaching activities related to digital society, technology ethics, and political philosophy, as well as individual research consultations. The programme also included a dedicated research meeting addressing the conceptual, methodological, and theoretical aspects of the project.
