MEDIA SPOTLIGHT: Ivan Cerovac on Digital Technologies and Their Threat to Democracy

EDDD Project Leader Ass. Prof. Ivan Cerovac, was recently featured in the Pogled supplement of the Croatian daily newspaper Novi list. In the interview, Dr. Cerovac explored some of the most pressing challenges facing modern democratic societies, particularly those brought about by the rapid development and integration of digital technologies powered by artificial intelligence.

Dr. Cerovac also used the opportunity to present the team’s new research project, “Epistemic Democracy in the Digital Age” (HRZZ-IP-2024-05-4113), funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.

The appearance in Novi list is part of the project’s ongoing commitment to engaging with the wider public and fostering informed discussions about the intersection of democracy, knowledge, and technology.
